BEARS AND FIREHOUSE SPRING WATER TEAM UP TO SALUTE FIREFIGHTERS JULY 24th AT THE DEN

NEWARK, NJ, March 17—The Newark Bears Professional Baseball Club and Firehouse Spring Water are teaming up to present Firefighter Day at Bears and Eagles Riverfront Stadium on Sunday, July 24th at 1:35 PM. Firehouse Spring Water is the official water of the New Jersey Fireman’s Mutual Benevolent Association and is an active supporter of The Burn Center at Saint Barnabas Medical Center. Since 2001, their inaugural year, Firehouse Spring Water has been donating a percentage of their profits to The Burn Center.

The Burn Center at Saint Barnabas will receive a portion of the proceeds raised from each ticket sold through Firehouse Spring Water. Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.firehousespringwater.com. By purchasing the tickets through the Firehouse Spring Water website, fans will help support the only state-certified burn treatment facility in New Jersey and one of the largest in North America, while enjoying an inexpensive afternoon out at the ballpark with friends and family.

The day will include the Fireman’s Olympics, a Chili Cook-Off, pre-game autograph session with Bears players and the Newark Bears’ famous Kids Run the Bases after the game. There will also be a special guest throwing out the first pitch for a day everyone is sure to remember.
